My Project -- Almost like a Science Fair Project
I was never a fan of science, let alone science fairs, but I feel that is what my body is all about. A project - an ever going project that I can not seem to finish. I guess I never really want to exactly "finish", I mean I will probably never be finish. Even when I think I am finished I will have to still maintain. So it is never really over, is it?
Well I am going to take my body threw some new training. A heavier 5 day split strength training with for four cardio sessions. Nothing concrete at the moment, just what I feel my body can do. If I start to feel worn out I will adjust accordingly but for the moment, building lean muscle is important to me. Today I did back and biceps. I have not done that combination in a long time. I generally do cheat and back and I will do triceps and biceps on the same day. So let's just say it was intense. Three exercises for back and three exercise for bicpes. 4 sets with 8-10 reps.
My back and biceps training looked like this today:
Wide Grip Lat Pulldowns 4 x 8-10 reps 60#'s
Barbell Bent Over Rows 4 x 8-10 reps 50#'s
Seated Cable Rows 4 x 8-10 reps 50#'s
EZ Bar Bicep Curls 4 x 8-10 reps (Alternated between 2 sets of 20# and 2 sets of 30#)
Seated Alternating Bicep Curls 4 x 8-10 reps 12#'s
Cable Bicep Curls 4 x 8-10 reps 20#'s
With the intense training of course I am reminded how important it is to refuel my body every 2-3 hours. Before I start giving in to the many demons at my mom's house. There are called Deluxe Chocolate Chip Cookies, Quaker Chocolate Chip Granola bars, about 3 different flavors of ice cream in her freezer, not to mention the hard candy mints and oh yes the peanuts. Who could forget the shelled salt-laden peanuts. Well I BETTER. And I have for 3 days now..... The eating is progressively getting better. But I have to get it 100% clean.
There is no other way. SO accountability is up to me. I have to remind myself of how processed food makes me feel. How it makes my skin look and feel. I want to look refreshed and not looking for a caffeine fix mid-day. It may take a couple of tries to get it right, but I am going to do it!!!

Nancy,
ReplyDeleteI know you will do great on this. I see you plan is brutal but you can do it. I love working these body parts so have fun with it. Just kick the bad food to the curb, and do it right.
WOO HOO Nancy - what a great plan mapped out
